    The student-run McFlury Run/Walk April 18 brought out about 400 participants and raised $11,700 for Mike Johnson, father of an OHS student, who is fighting pancreatic cancer.

    The Holmen Village Board will have at least three offers to buy the land under the Star Hill cross/star display when it meets May 8, including one bid of 12 times the value of the property.

    Someone is stealing from kids. Last week, one school in Onalaska and two schools in Holmen reported that their aluminum can recycling cages had been raided.

    Town board approves new dog limits (2008/05/07)
    After months of debate on “puppy mills” and dog-lovers’ rights, the Onalaska Town Board passed an ordinance Monday that limits residents to either two or four dogs, depending on the zoning of their home.
